Welcome to Quilt Street!

Celebration Mystery Quilt-Along : Part 2

Who doesn’t like a good mystery? It’s even better when a mystery is attached to a quilting project. Upon opening the doors of our Quilt Street neighborhood, join us in this spectacular Celebration Mystery Quilt-Along with BERNINA. In this five-part series, host Krista Moser reveals invaluable tips and tricks you’ll be able to take with you and use on every quilt you make hereafter. It’s a quilt-along that all the neighbors are talking about and one you don’t want to miss out on! The quilt in this series is throw size.

PART 2

Welcome to Part 2 of Quilt Street’s Celebration Mystery Quilt-Along! If you haven’t chosen your fabrics yet, be sure to download Part 1 for the yardage requirements to make this quilt, and watch the first video of the series in which instructor Krista Moser describes what you should look for.

In Part 2, it’s time to start cutting and sewing the first set of units that you’ll use in the Celebration quilt blocks. As Krista demonstrates in the second video, the piecing is easy, and soon you’ll be finished with this step and ready for the next one!

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Read through entire pattern before beginning project. Use ¼” seam allowances with fabric right sides together. Pressing arrows are included with illustrations. Fabric requirements include extra yardage for shrinkage and insurance. If working with directional prints, you may want to begin with more fabric than called for.
