Jack-in-the-Pulpit Block

DIFFICULTY LEVEL ‣ INTERMEDIATE

FINISHED BLOCK SIZE: 12″ X 12″

Jack-in-the-Pulpit calls to mind the woodland plant of the same name that blooms in springtime. The quilt block dates to the late 1800s and features an Economy Patch center and half-square triangles in the corners. If you’re considering making a memory quilt, use white in the center square and use that area to collect signatures.
